Psoriasis Treatment: How I removed my Psoriasis in 60 days

I was 15 years old and to my horror I woke up one morning with red flaky patches on my elbows. At the time, I was mortified. I quickly put on my Doctors hat and scoured the internet to self diagnose myself. The photos that popped up on the internet were terrifying. Photo after photo of amazing people that have been stricken with this horrible disease. I went to the doctors and they diagnosed me with psoriasis. And of course they prescribed me with a psoriasis treatment: oral steroids and steroid creams.

I used their prescribed psoriasis treatment for the next 15 years. It worked, a little, but in my early 30’s my psoriasis started getting worse. It spread to my knees, arms, shins, and scalp. Needless to say, I was stressed out. At that point, I decided I needed to take my psoriasis treatment more serious. I searched psoriasis forums for hours on end looking for a secret weapon to blast away my psoriasis. Now I didn’t find a secret weapon but what I did find, through reading 1000’s of posts, was a common thread for treating psoriasis. Below is what I did to get rid of my psoriasis in 60 days.

I 100% treated my psoriasis through my diet. I ate an extremely strict diet that consisted of the following:

  • Lots of water
  • Daily juicing
  • Fish
  • Broccoli
  • Brown rice

I ate the above everyday for my psoriasis treatment. This was EXTREMELY difficult. Especially for me, whose daily nutrition consisted of fast food and beer. The most challenging part was, I had no idea if it was going to work, but I had faith. In all of my reading, there seemed to be a consistent theme of people healing their psoriasis through healthy eating in 60 days. After 59 days I saw 0 results. It was more than a little demoralizing. But on the 60th day I woke up and 90% of my psoriasis was completely gone. I know it sounds crazy but it’s true. I didn’t see any incremental improvements. It all virtually vanished overnight.

Fast forward 5 years to today, and of course most of my psoriasis is back. I like to eat and drink too much to partake in this regimen permanently, but it is nice to know that I can manage my psoriasis through a healthy diet. In addition, with more reading and research, I have found many articles that reference a possible link to inflammation and psoriasis. With the leading causes for inflammation being leaky gut or candida.

I hope this article can help anyone that is struggling with psoriasis. I can’t promise that everyone will have the same results as I did, with the outlined psoriasis treatment, but I believe eating a healthy diet can go a long ways in fighting this manageable disease.

Morning Routine Checklist: 7 killer activities to start your day

Okay, so I am about to share with you life’s biggest secret. I would suggest you put down your remote and stand up because otherwise you may literally explode. That’s how amazing this secret is. Now that I have officially set your expectations so ridiculously high that this article will never be able to live up to the hype, I will get this party started right – quickly!

The first hour and the last hour are the 2 most important hours of the day. They must be carefully planned and artfully implemented. Routines are critical to ensure you have an awesome day and a restful sleep. In this article I’m going to focus on a morning routine checklist you must follow every day to ensure you are your most amazing, productive, self.

Step 1 – Be Grateful

Wake up every morning with some zest for life. LITERALLY! The first thing you should do every morning is say thank you for being alive! Being a little grateful first thing in the morning will start your day with a little pep. Oprah does it.

Step 2 – Drink Water

This is one of the most important steps in your morning routine checklist. When you wake up you are massively dehydrated. Drink a 12 oz glass of water to kick start your metabolism.

Step 3 – Shower

You need to clean yourself up and ensure you are feeling dapper for the day. As the old saying goes, look good – FEEL good.

Step 4 – Meditate

Imagine your mind is a battery and everyday, like your phone, you are replaying old videos of your life, planning your day, or reading ridiculous blogs. Your brain/battery runs out of juice. Meditating for 5 minutes in the morning will recharge that tired old battery and get you ready for an awesome day.

Step 5 – Keep a Grateful Diary

Every morning I quickly jot down 3 things I’m grateful for. It’s quite simple, I open my notepad on my phone and type in 3 things I’m happy about. They don’t have to be overly complicated. I keep it simple, like, my family, my pets, and the sunny day. They don’t always have to be mind shattering ideas. Just something that cheers you up a little.

Step 6 – Drink a Green Smoothie

Everybody needs energy and I know most people use caffeine for a morning kick start. But a smoothie packed full of vitamins will give you more energy and keep your energy levels even through out the day.

Step 7 – A To-Do List

I don’t know about you but once my day starts to get going it can quickly get sidetracked by emails, meetings, and projects. In order to ensure you keep your day on track a to-do list is a must. Additionally, keeping lists, including priorities, is extremely taxing on your most vital resource, your brain. Lists take up a large amount of space in your prefrontal cortex that can be used for many other tasks. That’s why it is so critical to get that list out of your mind and on to a piece of paper.

I promise that if you follow the above morning routine checklist, you will have set the stage for a massively productive day.
