CONFIDENCE! It’s commonly talked about but much less commonly achieved. This article is going to provide you a turn key method to feeling biblically amazing most days. Most of these ideas are not new. I am only taking the information that I have gleamed from multiple sources, that has worked for me, and sharing them. Please do not take this as gospel, if you’re having severe issues, please consult a medical professional. Without further ado, below is what I have found that will successfully pull you from gloom to BOOM!
1) Look good; feel good
This is an old adage but I promise you it is 100% true. If you’re feeling down and you want to quickly give yourself a boost in the right direction, get your ass of your couch, shave, buy a super fly outfit, get a haircut, and hit the gym. I promise if you take these actions you will instantly start feeling better. This won’t provide you the deep confidence you are looking for but it will provide you an immediate pick me up to start taking the necessary actions to achieve core confidence.

2) Push your comfort zone!
This is by far the most CRITICAL step in achieving supreme confidence. Taking action and getting shit done is instrumental in attaining core confidence. Let your feelings guide you in the right direction. If it makes you feel uncomfortable DO IT. The key part is taking the action regardless of the outcome. One caveat, please do this in steps. Do not get all crazy and try to push too hard. If you’re deathly afraid of public speaking, DON’T go out and try to give a speech in front of a 1000 people. You’re liable to give yourself a nervous breakdown. I promise, if you do this in your every day life you will become the master of your domain in no time.

3) Get out of your head!
Okay, I’m sure everyone is aware that meditation is pretty bad ass. There’s boat loads of studies showing the benefits of meditation. Now, do I personally meditate for extended periods of time, no. Meditation equals nap time for me. What I found to be more effective is to go into my breath, even if only a for a few seconds, periodically through out the day. You can find plenty of YouTube videos on how to do this but simply put, you focus your attention on your breathing. Also, simultaneously, look around yourself and take in the natural beauty of the world. Many times people are so engrossed in their daily routines they don’t take the time to enjoy the beauty of the world we live in.
Another great way to get out of your head, is to dance. Shake that sweet ass into pure enlightenment. 🙂 Any other similar activity that fully engrosses you will work also.

4) Key Mindsets
Affirmations, for me, don’t work. Saying something in your mind over and over is not going to magically make your mind believe it’s true but taking action and proving it to yourself will. But I do think a few key mindsets will help guide you as you continue your journey to profound confidence.
- Don’t care what other people think about you
- This one is fairly self explanatory. You can’t please everyone, so don’t waste your time trying.
- Self Amusement
- The world is a crazy and bizarre place. There’s absolutely no way you can control it, so don’t bother. The better way is to sit back and enjoy the madness.
- Be Grateful
- stop focusing on what you don’t have and be happy with what you do have. Everyone wants the latest and greatest, as if that is somehow going to make you whole. Take time each day and be grateful for the simple things in life.

5) Final Thoughts
Wash, rinse, repeat! This isn’t something you do once and you’re self assured the rest of your life. This is an on-going process. Through out your life there are going to be many ups and downs. The above will only help you manage the highs and the lows effectively.
